This villa has a natural breeze and coolness in the heat of summer, Air Conditioning is in all the bedrooms. The ground floor consists of a large open plan kitchen, living and dining area.The dining area opens out on to a west facing front terrace.
Entering the house from the back, first left is a guest bathroom and the laundry area with washing machine etc. To the right is a useful pantry.
The rest of the downstairs area is open plan with arches to the open plan kitchen, living room and dining room. A terrace leads from the dining area, this is a haven in the heat of summer as it has comfortable seating and is protected from sunlight until well into the late afternoon.
Between the kitchen/internal dining area is the beautiful appointed light and airy living room with open fire place. The dining area opens to a covered balcony, a much appreciated place during the hot summer month as well as during the mild but rainy winters..
The living room is a comfortable sitting area at any time of the day as it has plenty of light, windows that offer a through breeze in the heat of the day but no direct sunlight.
Stairs lead to the landing hallway, a family bathroom. The bathroom which is a generous size, Off the hallway is a twin bedroom on the right, this opens onto a balcony shared with the master bedroom and a view beyond the village out to the sea, there is a further double bedroom with views over the back garden and the pool.
The spacious and light filled master bedroom, opens onto a beautiful private terrace with views over the village and out to the sea. This terrace also has an entrance from the adjoining twin bedroom. The master bedroom is the size of a studio with its generous and comfortable sitting area and, fitted wardrobes Again plenty of light, this room has access to the shared balcony and a through breeze provided by the windows and balcony door.
The stairs then lead up to the spacious roof terrace that has wonderful views looking out over the hills and to the sea. it is a perfect place to watch the sun setting behind the hills beyond, from the built in cushion clad seating.
Formerly a fishing village for the Bodrum area, Yalikavak is now one of the most elite towns on the Peninsula.
The new and trendy Palmarina Bodrum (Yalikavak’s improved and enlarged yacht marina) is now one of the most striking marinas along the Turkish coast. It accommodates some of the most luxurious yachts along the entire Mediterranean as well as trendy cafes, restaurants and many branded shops.
Yalikavak is home to some of Turkey’s best waterfront restaurants, bars, and cafes with a vibrant town centre. Despite undergoing significant infrastructure improvements, Yalikavak still preserves its natural charm. Thursday is market day and a great opportunity to experience authentic Turkey. There are also many little beaches, including two blue flag beach clubs.
Yalikavak is surrounded by hills which give some spectacular views of the town and nearby Aegean coastline. There are a number islands large and small off the coast of Yalikavak as well as several secluded bays forming different districts of Yalikavak. These make the whole area of Yalikavak an ideal haven for sailors and nature-spotters.
