Bodrum Town centre with its exciting nightlife is a 15 minute drive and Bodrum Airport 25/30 minutes by road.
Built in a rustic style, much of the interior has traditional features including exposed stone walls, beamed and pitched ceilings and solid wood floors. Turkbuku is located on the northern side of the Bodrum Peninsula on the Turkish Riviera, about 15km from Bodrum. It has a well sheltered harbour surrounded by high hills which are occupied by luxury hotels and luxury holiday villas. The town is a favourite holiday location and summer home for the upper-class Turks and although less well visited by Western European tourists compared to Bodrum, it is becoming increasingly popular with foreign visitors and investors.
This area lacks sandy beaches in but there is a wide walkway with many shops, restaurants, bars and many large thing jetties for sunbathing in the day and dining in the evening. The protected harbour is a very popular location for yachts including super yachts. Bill Gates, Abramovich and many a movie stars have spent time in the area with their super yachts berthed in the picturesque harbour. On land, in the high tourist season, Turkish pop-stars, models and professional athletes can be sighted at the ultra-chic bars and restaurants. It truly does deserve it’s designation as the Saint-Tropez of Turkey!
